Behind-the-Scenes - The State Theatre

The State Theatre of Ithaca has served as an important venue for the performing arts since 1928. It is the largest venue of its kind in Ithaca, New York. Ithaca once boasted seven grand theaters; The State Theatre is the last remaining historic performing arts theatre in all of Tompkins County.

Join us to find out more about the history of this grand building fashioned in Moorish and Renaissance Revival Styles and the Collegiate Gothic symbolism of Cornell and the many transformations that have taken place from vaudevillian to current days.

This event is limited to 25 LLH members.

If you would like to ride share, please telephone the office on (607) 319-0162 or by email.
