Learning for a Lifetime - Memoir Writing

Have you ever wanted to write your memoir? Have your children or grandchildren asked you to write your life story?

Learn from our member, Jeanne Mackin, on how to add spice and flavor to your experiences. Jeanne will explain various
methods to retrieve memories and recreate them for a reader. She will include guided exercises of writing through the senses to rediscover memories.

The goal for the workshop is to acquire the technique of combining enriched memory with subsequent acquired detail and analysis, to give meaning, depth and richness to the memory. It is for writers of both fiction and nonfiction including beginners and those who would like to preserve family memories.

Everyone has stories and each story deserves a special telling.
