Behind-the-Scenes: Robotics Lab

Have you ever wanted an insider view of robotics? Join us for a highly informative tour led by a member of the Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering faculty. This is going to be a fun and interesting opportunity to see robots in action and learn about new developments in robotics. If we are lucky with the weather and depending on availability, we might also get to see a self-driving car.

Robotics at Cornell spans various subareas, including perception, control, learning, planning, and human-robot interaction. They work with a variety of robots such as aerial robots, home and office assistant robots, autonomous cars, humanoids, evolutionary robots, legged robots, snake robots and more.

The tour will take place in Upson Hall on the Cornell campus. Upson is
across from the Cornell baseball field at 124 Hoy Road. We will meet inside the Hoy Road entrance to Upson at 1:45 PM.

There is limited metered parking available in the parking garage on Hoy Road about 200 yards east and across the street.  Carpooling is greatly encouraged!

Please call the office if you need help with setting up a carpool.
