We will meet in the parking lot at the north end of the Black Diamond Trail at Upper Taughannock State Park's parking area.  The trail is wide and scenic with a very gradual downhill slope.  We will walk for about an hour.  You may want to bring insect repellent.

 

 

Take Route 89 north from Cass Park.

 

Pass the entrances to Taughannock State Park.

 

Turn at the first left onto Taughannock Park Road.

 

On the left, pass the State Park Regional Headquarters and then the Overlook Visitor Center. Continue on the road.

 

At the stop sign, turn left onto Jacksonville Road.

 

The parking lot will be immediately on the left.
